Incredible PBX 2021 Backup & Restore

The Incredible PBX 2021 Backup & Restore modules provide a convenient way to make a backup of your entire Incredible PBX platform. The backups generated by running incrediblebackup2021 are stored in /backup, and you are encouraged to copy the backups to a safe off-site location. The backups can be restored by first copying the off-site backup to the /backup folder on your new platform. The new platform must have a working version of Incredible PBX 2020 or 2021 running. Then run the incrediblerestore2021 script to restore the backup. Backups from one operating system with restores to a different operating system are not supported but do work.

NOTE: Do not confuse these backup and restore utilities with the similarly named utilities in the FreePBX GUI. The FreePBX module provides a less comprehensive backup that is better suited for restores between servers running different operating systems but the same version of FreePBX. There also are Incredible Backup 16 utilities in the CentOS version’s /root folder which are used solely to build the initial Incredible PBX 2020 platform. Do NOT attempt to restore an Incredible Backup 16 image using Incredible Restore 2021.
